APSL Nagarro and the Institute of Cross-disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems (IFISC, CSIC-UIB) has established a collaboration agreement for the modernization, maintenance and development of new features in IFISC's web ecosystem. This agreement will guarantee the technological updating and improvement of the center's digital infrastructure, process optimization and better interaction with internal and external users, creating a more efficient and secure environment for the management of its scientific and dissemination activities.

IFISC, a reference center in complex systems research, needs a comprehensive renovation of its digital platforms. APSL Nagarro will be in charge of updating the backend and the public website of the institute, as well as other pages related to activities such as conferences or projects.

The collaboration will be carried out under agile methodologies, guaranteeing the use of open source tools and libraries, with GPL or MIT licenses, which reinforces IFISC's commitment to free software. The code developed will be hosted on IFISC servers, ensuring ownership and access. This modernization process will allow IFISC to optimize the management of its events, improve the experience of internal and external users, and facilitate the visibility of its scientific and academic activities.

Claudio Mirasso, Principal Investigator of the project associated with the María de Maeztu Unit of Excellence, comments that "in a research center like the IFISC, having a modern digital infrastructure is fundamental. This collaboration with APSL Nagarro will allow us to reinforce the visibility of our scientific and informative activity". Our commitment to a company with experience in the scientific field and with strong roots in the Balearic Islands reinforces our commitment to the local environment".

Leo Gallegos, Project Manager of APSL Nagarro explained that "this project is a very good opportunity to continue collaborating with the world of research and scientific dissemination, areas in which we already have experience working for entities such as SOCIB or Mercator Ocean. We are especially excited to do it again linked to a local reference center in the Balearic Islands such as IFISC, because it allows us to support our immediate environment, the scientific community of the Balearic Islands.

This collaboration represents a key step in the digitalization of the IFISC, consolidating its technological infrastructure to continue promoting research and scientific dissemination in the field of complex systems.
